Cheyenne - thanks for recommending me to Georgia Menukas. She liked my family, but we are now spread out between Vermont, Chicago and San Diego so that would make filming us together difficult. I'd like to talk with you about ways to connect people on this site with some of the things I carry in my store. What is the best way to do that? I need to run down to the kitchen and cook dinner now and I hope to talk to you soon. - Paul
Thanks for the welcome to Tall Street. Actually, I am the youngest of all my siblings by nearly ten years, so even though I ended up being nearly a foot taller than anyone else in my immediate family, it was almost as if nobody noticed it. Kinda like how if someone gets a Saint Bernard puppy and has it from when it is little they never notice how big it really is, you know? As for strangers seeing us in town, I think they just figured I was an unrelated family friend. Just the other day at the local cofee shop where my dad and I frequently meet up, the girl behind the counter asked me who the little old man I always have coffee with is! It was pretty funny.
Thank you kindly for the comment. When the moguls created and discuss the "glass ceiling" for women they never contemplated gals such as myself. Traversing the corporate world when part of your CV is from a time wearing Brooks Brothers suits, instead of presently attired by Givency and Christian Dior, is not a plateau "they" likely ever envisioned.
Alas we all have our crosses to bare. And this lady is quite enjoying the journey forward.
Time shall tell whether the concept goes from drawing board to startup to success. Would be wondrous not for the accomplishment paid to a TG woman broaching the barriers of the "good ole boy" network but rather to build for all the individual futures it might one day provide.
Of course I won't mind the extra shoe shopping expeditions it'll allow. TeeHee.
Thanks. No I'm not a member but i'm interested. I will google it.

stalker! yes, your site is the top google hit for my name, so thought a benign pic would be best for my professional image. :) and....well, I'm all about the butterfly.
ok - I wrote up a little blog post. Maybe other people can add to it I did not want to get too specific, but maybe this is enough to give people an idea where to start. I have seen a lot of tall people with terrible backs and once you damage your back, it is very difficult to have peace.
Sure I will write up what I know, but it will be generic as a person should probably talk to the right kind of a doctor.
On the office chair. I found something very comfortable, but I'm nowhere near your height. It was a matter of sitting in chairs in about every new and used store I visited. And this was København and Aarhus. Here people worry much more about ergonomics than in the US.
I can't say that I do, but I'll look them up :o) Thanks for the update. I hope all is well in your world :o)

Hey Cheyenne...great meeting you and this site ROCKS!!! You have motivated me to finish my own on Ning for novice photographers and videographers who want to pursue their passion as a business, etc... Your photos are great, btw.

It never matters what you sell, it's the service that you provide that's important! We all have lots in common. Thanks again for the birthday wish.

Be well, Be Safe and Always Be Yourself.

Part of me is jealous, but not the part that just spent more than half an hour trying to find a single coat with long enough sleeves.
Here's wishing you long inseams & high doorways!
