I am Mike. I am a tall, handsome and healthy mix of Cuban
and Cape Verdean (from Cape Verde)
Grew up in Los Angeles, CA. The city of angels for a reason. I love LA for all it is and everything it isn't. LA made me understand that you cannot be successful in life without going 136% ALL THE TIME.

Went to college to first GET AN EDUCATION and secondly to play ball. Did really well at both (Academic and Athletic All-American). I love to learn more than I love to hoop.

So basketball has taken me all over the world. I have been to every continent. I played in Australia, Qatar, Sweden, Canada, and last season I played for Sport Lisboa e Benfica, the largest sports club in the world. I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to work around the world doing something I love.

Now I am back home. Basketball is not done for me...I am a member of the Cape Verde Olympic Team but I have started a new challenge. I want to help change the world. So i decided to make a clothing company called Blood Heart Gang.
