My 16 year old son is 6' 10" and is trying to deal with the staring and OMG comments. A trip to Wal-Mart yesterday didn't help matters. One of the workers wanted his autograph (in case he became a famous basketball player) and others were trying to guess how tall he was and calling to others to check out the "tall kid." We won't be going to Portland for the NMF convention, but looking forward to when it comes to Chicago. Thank you for being a tall advocate! I'm hoping my son will appreciate his height some day.

We do have a group on here for Marfan as I think its important for tall people to know about, and sadly many do not. All I hear about marfan.org is what a wonderful organization that it continues to be.
