I've been wanting to read World War Z, I just haven't gotten around to it.

I've been obsessed lately with the Game of Thrones on HBO.  I thought about getting the books, but I almost don't want to ruin the good thing I've already got going on with this show.  It just recently ended for the season and I'm already chomping at the bit to find out what happens next!

asimov is the best - foundation and i, robot series were the best (even the movie was ok but that's just cause Will Smith is so damn cool)

crichton's dead (boohoo) but did anyone read his "manuscript" pirate latitudes? maybe not sci-fi but still a great book by a great author who i did not know was a tall guy, awesome, makes me love his work even more.

and everytime i see those BSG Caprica print ads I feel slightly creepy - how old is she? and as a side note Eureka on SciFi (aka SYFY) is really great too

sci fi is awesome - sorry star trek, starwars all the way (tho the 2009 movie was great)

BSG is back!!! Kinda!!
The new Series "Caprica" starts in just a few weeks. This is the beginning, this is the why, this is the how. This is what starts it all. The Cylon War.

I loved the book and the movie from back in the 50's or earlier The Day of the Triffids.
