Hello all -
I just joined this site today and so far I have been pleased with what I have discovered. As you can see from my profile, I am 7'2" tall and weigh about 320lbs. As many of you, I have daily challenges around my own house in regrads to furnture and other items not made for my height. A while back I found this website and wanted to share it with all of you. I am sure some of you know about it already, but I thought I post it anyways, for the ones that don't know about

Hey there
This is Jheri and I am helping out a bit on the Colleenified Countertops for tall people. We're not making any money on this, it just seemed like a good idea because cooking can be a pain if you are tall.
There are some other ideas for products for talls and particularly tall women, but the maker needs to be convinced this is a viable product before she goes ahead - it is a small woman-run business in Kentucky that is tall friendly, but they can't afford to make mistakes. Your help w…

Cheyenne asked about this as I worry about it.
Some of you are athletes and maybe you can add.
The first thing to note is that I am NOT a doctor and you might want to talk to one who understands this sort of thing. Your normal physician might be a fine person, but you need to talk to someone who specializes in sports medicine. Get assessed by them and they might prescribe a few sessions with physical therapists who specialize in sports physical therapy. This makes a huge difference.
I also do…

So I stop looking like this guy everyday

So I'm looking around at buying a good office chair for my home office, but find that most "tall" designations are for people 6'1 and taller. Nothing against 6'1 people, b

I have a lot of lower back pain when I'm bending over the low counter in the kitchen for more than about ten minutes at a time. My friend Colleen has a longer way to bend.
She and a friend came up with a raised height counter top. It is much cheaper than having custom cabinets and counters put in. They found a manufacturer and a product will be announced in soon on her blog. Feel free to share it with tall or even just tallish cooks.
The length and width can be custom and the height is set by…

Face it, it you are tall you get a lot of stares and questions and comments. I think tall women get it even more because it is more ok to be tall if you are a guy.
I deal with this by being positive. When someone asks a dumb question or makes one of
those comments we all hear, I smile and give them a complement. It completely changes what goes on and can leave both of us happy. I've had some very nice conversations that have started this way and have been able to have met some great peop…

I think I’m missing something. It seems as if the ENTIRE world has gone crazy for Twilight and the Totty Two-some that is ‘Edward’ and ‘Jacob’. Every day my Facebook updates are full of new converts with friends statuses proclaiming their love for for one, or both, of the hot, young men…

Who is Dakota Simms?
Dakota is a 9-year old rising basketball phenom
Dakota practices everyday shooting over 300 shots. He routinely makes 50 3-pointers within 5 minutes. That is a shot "made" every 6 seconds; with just one ball! He is student of the game, a student in school and a quick study of both.
Watch CNN.com's 3-minute feature of NBA Hall of Famer, Dominique Wilkins and Dakota playing and talking about the game they love

This is my first blog and i would enjoy to compose a few words about hostels. Hostels are a impressive approach to see the world on a low budget. From the cheapest to the more grand there is something to accommodate every preference and plan. The important thing about
youth hostel is that tons of college students flock to them as they are cheap and fun so there is continuously plenty of student travelers around to party with!
In generally every other part…

I've been corresponding with a professor who has been studying sexual dimorphism in humans - lots of traits that are different for women and men. Height and height preferences come under this heading. He has done a lot of work on mostly average sized people and finds that, surprise, guys like shorter gals and gals like taller guys. He has been able to look at this question deeply across cultures and other things.
Reading his papers, it is clear he was focusing on women under 6'0 and guys under…

Hello TALLS,
This is sort of short notice for a TALL acting job on Wed., Oct. 14 in Torrence California (near LA). At $108–$118 per hour for an 8-hour job, it might be worthwhile for someone to travel for it. They need a young man to play a very tall version of Zeke in an episode of the Disney XD show Zeke & Luther. That means 6'10" to 7' tall, 20-ish, thin, Caucasian with a pale complexion (he'll play a redhead). He'll need to become a member of AFTRA (actors' union) for the job.

After graduating from college I spent three months thinking where field should I enter. A highly competitive industry of TV commercial production house which I think I will enjoy a lot or other field that there’s money and at the same time you could easily get into; like
Paper Writing Service Corporation. It really takes time to patiently wait for a call especially in a company that really requires a reputable and infamous university or…
