Not sure if you guys have checked these out but in the past the WRX was seriously small inside. I was absolutely blown away by how much head room these things have. Apparently in 2008 they greatly expanded the head room and now guys like myself 6'6" can fit comfortably in it. My only complaint is that the shoulder width like most sports cars makes it a little tighter than I'd like.

Hey everybody, I stumbled across this website last night and decided to join since I happen to be 6'7" and I drive a 2002 PT Cruiser. I noticed a PT Cruiser wasn't on the list for Tall Cars.<div><br></br></div>
<div>There is a good amount of head room for me (2-3 inches to spare) and with the seat adjusted all the way back and the steering wheel tilted up as high as it will go I have good legroom. I can't necessarily stretch out all the way (I'll keep dreaming), but I have driven from NY to NC…</div>
Hey everybody, I stumbled across this website last night and decided to join since I happen to be 6'7" and I drive a 2002 PT Cruiser. I noticed a PT Cruiser wasn't on the list for Tall Cars.<div><br/></div>
<div>There is a good amount of head room for me (2-3 inches to spare) and with the seat adjusted all the way back and the steering wheel tilted up as high as it will go I have good legroom. I can't necessarily stretch out all the way (I'll keep dreaming), but I have driven from NY to NC and back several times with no major complaints. I can even touch my knees together underneath the steering wheel if I want to (keep in mind my legs nearly touch the bottom of the wheel when I do this). That's how much clearance there is underneath the wheel. I do have to take breaks (every 3 hours of driving or so) to stretch my legs, but that's pretty common for most people I guess. The headrests on the front seats go up nice and high too and I almost fee like the were designed for taller people. I actually feel like the height of the seat fits me pretty well. </div>
<div><br/></div>
<div>It's also worth noting that the back seat in this car is definitely NOT good for tall people. If you're going to be driving your tall friends around a lot I wouldn't recommend a PT Cruiser. But, if you're going to be driving alone most of the time like me (or if you have shorter friends) this is a great choice if you're looking to buy a cheaper used car.</div>
<div><br/></div>
<div>I'd also like to mention that my car is a stick shift. I don't particularly like driving automatics and the problem with larger cars that will usually fit taller people is that they're almost always automatics. That being said, it's still sort of rare to find a stick shifting PT Cruiser.</div>
<div><br/></div>
<div>Well, I suppose that's all for now. Thanks for reading, and take care.</div> Mercedes G Classtag:www.thetallstreetjournal.com,2009-12-22:2152092:Topic:233622009-12-22T03:10:14.874ZR. Winberghttp://www.thetallstreetjournal.com/profile/RWinberg
Although these cost a ridiculous amount, many NBA players drive them. They have a LOT of room.

I'm currently driving a full size Nissan Titan, Thier is plenty of leg and head room for my 6'8" frame, when I bought the truck four years ago it was the roomiest truck on the market. I had a Dodge Ram before this but the peddles where to close and my knee would get sore on long trips from not being able to extend my legs. Thie truck sucks gas but its fun to drive.

<p>I sat in this new 2009 Ford Flex the other day. Its kind of like an SUV but stretched out even longer. That gives not only good leg room to the driver, but also to the passengers.</p>

<p>You can definitely see some of the room in there. Anyone else thoughts on the Ford Flex?</p> Dodge Sprintertag:www.thetallstreetjournal.com,2008-07-23:2152092:Topic:17032008-07-23T13:26:08.911ZCheyenne Throckmortonhttp://www.thetallstreetjournal.com/profile/CheyenneJack
I know its tall to look at, but has anyone out there actually driven it to see if it actually fits a taller person. I guess some people can even stand in the back. Let me know if you know anything about this vehicle and potential tallness factor.<br />

This car really surprised me and except for a little bar that was slightly uncomfortable against my right shin, this car really may have worked for me at 6'11. Might have felt like a silly clown car guy getting out of it, but it would have worked.<br />

I would be interested in the safety rating for a person my size though. I figure all the tests are done on 5'10 dummies. At least with the Navigator even if its a false sense of security, I feel like there is more to the car and riding…

I absolutely love my Lincoln Navigator as it has a good amount of room for my 300+ pound 6'11 self. Its also good for storing lots of friends and stuff, especially for longer beach trips. The only real downfall is the gas mileage. The best feature is the sunroof for my mohawk (and yes the sunroof on this car doesnt kill headroom like most sunroofs). The super-adjustable seats are probably another feature that gives extra room, even more than the Ford Excursion, which does not fit as well.<br />

Mine is a 2004. I really hope the newer models don't sacrifice room. The newer version came out in 2007.
